This necklace is built on contrast and restraint.
Clear crackle quartz fracture light like ice or shattered glass, while deep black Toho 11/0 seed beads form a protective rhythm throughout the piece. Traditionally used for grounding and warding, they quietly hold the structure together.
 
Threaded between them are fire crimson opals—top-grade beads sourced from theopaldealer, chosen for their intensity and movement. In low light they read dark and reserved; when the light hits, they ignite. Ember, blood, spark. Alive without excess.
 
Natural Eyeless obsidian anchors the design, offering protection without gaze or ornament—present, watchful, and intentionally unseeing.
 
Finished with a dark metal hook clasp, the necklace balances delicacy and edge. Storybook on the surface. Heat underneath.
